About Justine

Justine Ungaro is a 2nd generation photographer who has been photographing portraits, weddings and other events for the past 18 years. She is counted amongst Profoto’s Legends of Light and has had her work published in more publications than she can actively remember including People, OK Magazine, In Touch Weekly, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Martha Stewart Weddings, In Style Weddings, Grace Ormond, Bride’s, Modern Bride, Washingtonian Magazine and in lots of blogs and online outlets. Although Justine always appreciates when her work is shared with the public, she does not photograph with the paramount intent of publication. She believes strongly that her most important job is to understand the importance of the work she creates on behalf of a couple and their families. That means photographing with her clients in mind first and foremost and trying to ensure that images are balanced with feeling and story but without compromising her unique ability to create flattering images of her subjects. She wants her clients to love their images in the months immediately following the wedding as well as 10 or 20 or 50 years in the future.

When not on location, Justine works out of her storefront studio located in Studio City.
