When I meet with brides and grooms, I usually show them a few sample albums from weddings I’ve photographed in the past. I want to give them a feel for the way I tell the story of a wedding day. But those samples are designed from my point-of-view, using the images I think are the strongest from the day. But sometimes it’s nice to share actual clients album designs. Most of my albums are designed from a favorites folder on Pictage selected by the bride and groom themselves. I’ll give input where necessary but to me the most important thing is that my clients LOVE their album and adore every image that goes into it. So today, here a the wedding album I just finished for a really great couple named Liz & Chris, shot back in August at Keswick Hall in Charlottesville, VA. Enjoy!
Here is another one I just finished. Shelby and Anna (from the previously blogged album) are pals which always makes things fun. Shelby and Brad are a wonderful and adorable couple who were married at the famous Willard Hotel in Washington DC on July 5th, 2008. My amazing associate Jenni Green shot this with me.

This one is a 12″x12″ flush-mount album so imagine a folded crease down the middle. First page starts on the right.

Here it is, a 12″x12″ Queensberry matted album. Anna & Todd’s beautiful wedding was May 3rd, 2008 at Hotel Monaco in DC. Although flush-mount albums have been very popular over the past several years, I never stopped offering the matted variety. I predict that there will be a surge in the popularity of these great-looking albums in the next couple of years as the pendulum swings back toward a more minimal and classic sensibility. Are you with me? :)
