I’m super stoked today to share with you today the slideshow from Jane & Mark’s lovely Washington DC wedding at Dahlgren Chapel and The Reagan Building. This was the first wedding where I’ve attempted to shoot a little bit of video with my Canon 5D Mark II, even though I’ve owned the camera for well over a year. Sometimes it takes a little while to adjust to new technology. I tend to run out and buy the new thing right away and then have to slowly figure out how on earth to actually use it.
I’m considering offering this as an additional wedding service so if you are a current or future client, please feel free to inquire. I’m not suggesting this as a replacement for a videographer but for couples who are opting not to have video and would just like to have a little footage sprinkled in here and there, drop me an email and we’ll talk.
More images from Jane & Mark’s wedding will be posted soon so check back…
Hello everyone. Just wanted to hang out a public apology if you just clicked through from my email auto-responder for an email you may have sent me months ago. I turned on my auto-responder and had one tiny little setting wrong and it responded to ALL of the emails in my inbox. Unfortunately for all of you, I save emails for a long time in case I need to refer back to them later. Today that’s come back to bite me. Oops. So I apologize for the confusion. But I do wish all of you a happy and healthy holiday season! :)
I have to say it is just so much fun to work with the same family over and over again so I was thrilled to get to work with the beautiful Yavari family again this year. After briefly meeting Chrstina & John at John’s sister, Jo’s wedding at Decatur House last year, I knew that I would have to work with them on their own wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Pentagon City which was a couple of weeks ago. And as usual, the Yavari family did not disappoint. This time they wowed us with a red-themed wedding with a cool, asian flair. John’s parents even surprised the couple with a Ninja who periodically flipped through the reception. He was so quiet and quick that guests weren’t even sure what was going on…some even seemed to think they might be going crazy which was a riot to watch.
And of course it is always wonderful to work with great friends from the DC wedding business:
